What Happens After Your Photography Session

What you’ll find in this blog

If you are here, you likely just finished the fun part—your session. You might be wondering what’s next. I am here to tell you just that, and your experience with me doesn’t have to end here! In this blog post, you will learn:

  • My editing and gallery delivery process
  • How to download images and some printing tips
  • An invitation to my community

Editing & Gallery Delivery

Here is a little peek into what my editing process looks like. Right when I get home from your session, my priority is to keep your images safe. The minute I get home, I transfer your images to an SSD and store away the two SD cards. This ensures that I have your images saved in three different locations in case anything goes wrong.

Next, I go through and cull your gallery, choosing all the best images, with a minimum of 40 pictures. I will then hand edit each one with care and attention, creating a beautifully curated gallery. This process includes editing colors according to my personal style and removing unwanted distractions.

Downloading & Printing Your Images

You will receive your complete online gallery via email, typically within 1–2 weeks of your session. Your gallery will guide you through how to download your images in high resolution. If for any reason you are having trouble downloading your images, feel free to reach out to me and I will help you troubleshoot.

If you would like to print your images, you are able to print them directly from the Pic-Time website where your images are delivered. Or you can download them to print elsewhere. Please be aware that printing images at box stores tends to lower the quality of your images. However, my favorite places to print my personal family images are Smallwood Homes and Mixtiles.

Staying Connected

Your experience doesn’t have to end once you receive your gallery. My goal as a photographer is not only to watch your family grow through the years but also to nourish the relationships. As a mom, I’ve learned very quickly how isolating motherhood can be, but there are ways to make sure it isn’t. The importance of a motherhood community is something that I am passionate about.

Because of this, I have created a Facebook page for all my clients to stay connected by sharing motherhood stories, questions, wins, and planning activities in a safe space.

Join my Facebook Motherhood community.

As a client, you will also have access to my exclusive email list, in which you’ll have first access to seasonal mini sessions, discounted model calls, and returning family discounts. Lastly, if you would like to continue following along on my journey, follow me on my social media!
